Just a few pics of last weeks adventures, if I can I’ll put in the text on our travels to Orkney, Wey Hey!!!!
Here we are on our way to Dry Harbour amazing what you see on the roads nowadays!!
Thursday afternoon and our relief arrived but was beat to the front face by Sandy from Staffin.
Later in the evening we had the Hebridean and Wildlife Trust boat arrive and it ‘parked’ right in the harbour entrance, they landed some of their passengers who wandered about for a while. We headed out to sea to lift some creels.
.Unfortunately we hit a snag and were very late getting in, but were ok with the assistance of Calum.
Back to the house and an even later night tailing squatties, George the cat always appears when the squatties come ashore.
Next day we put a few creels back out and lifted our small fleet of 9 lobster pots, we were pleased to see a lobster in the first creel.
We are now in Shieldaig helping ourselves to Kenny’s wi fi and getting the blog finished, in an hour we’ll be on our way to Gills Bay to head over the sea to Orkney.
More tomorrow.
